Accounts Administrator: Debt Collector

Responsibilities

  • Monthly follow up with attorneys
  • Prepare reports for portfolio manager meetings when required
  • Updating of owners’ details on MDA
  • General enquiries
  • Reconciliation of levy accounts
  • Assisting with new buildings
  • Cleanup of MDA database
  • Collection of arrear levies
  • Implementation of collection procedures
  • Sending of SMS’s and final demands
  • Handover to Attorneys
  • Ensure that required approval is obtained for the collection process from the portfolio manager
  • Handle all levy related enquiries, telephonically, via email and in consultation
  • Supply transaction reports when required
  • Reports on Sequestration and Late Estate matters for meetings
  • Contacting owners of returned emails
  • Maintaining Late Estates, Sequestrations, Disputes and arrangements
  • Prepare, upload handovers on the attorney portal
  • Daily follow ups on Attorney portal
  • Manage 14 day Attorneys Reports
  • Maintain Status codes

Requirements

  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans
  • Professional dealing with clients internal and external
  • Being an effective team player
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Ability to multi task
  • Basic accounting and excel skills
  • Accuracy

  • Good communication and telephone manners
  • Ability to work with people
  • Work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Reliable and dependable

Salary

Annual CTC between R 144 000 – R 204 000.
