PRETORIA, Gauteng – MidCity Property Services (Pty) Ltd has announced the acquisition of the business of The Property Management Authority of South Africa, also known as Propman.
This strategic decision was taken following the unfortunate passing of Propman’s Managing Director, with the result that Propman has now come under the management of MidCity Property Services (Pty) Ltd, as of 1 June 2021.
With this acquisition, MidCity is set to grow their business in community schemes management and property management.
MidCity COO, Koos Croukamp, highlighted the value of this acquisition through communication to clients by stating: “With this acquisition, we look forward to work with you while adding value to your property”.
In a separate client-directed letter, Propman COO, Willie Nel, stated, “MidCity Property Services is a company with sound business and financial experience to take your property and investments to new heights.”
Nel confirmed that for the moment, “it is business as usual” for Propman clients and that important information relating to the acquisition by MidCity would be forthcoming.
MidCity CEO, Marius Alberts, confirmed that most of Propman employees will join our team and encourages all colleagues to help make the transition as smooth as possible for the Propman clients. We are looking forward to welcoming them as part of the MidCity Group. MidCity has a wealth of experience and expertise which was build up over the last 38 years and will gladly discharge our customer friendly efficiencies to the Propman clients.
Further details about the acquisition remain to be shared in the public domain, however, MidCity has confirmed that Propman will be moving into assigned offices of MidCity Property Group from 1 July 2021.
